| The Calculus
was the first IT retail outlet
in New Delhi way back in 1985 and one of the first
in India as well. This was when IT was still a virgin
territory as far as India was concerned. We were
offering a wide range of PC's, printers, consumables,
computers, IT books, furniture and software. For
catering to the requirements of major computer manufacturers
all over India we imported monitors, printers, plotters
and digitizers from China , Japan and Taiwan . IT
giants such as Altos, DCM, PCL, HCL, WIPRO
& Zenith were a part of our esteemed
clientele. Following which we expanded our operations
to several other cities in North India . |

| For three consecutive years from
1989 to 1991 we were the largest distributors
of Citizen printers in India . For the same, Mr.
Hayashi, the Managing Director of Citizen, Japan
awarded The Calculus at an international gathering. |

then made its foray into IT education and offered
courses on computer hardware maintenance and CAD-CAM
